WPZ Single Speed Cast Iron Worm Reducer — WP Series

Standard foot-mount worm reducers require a flat, rigid, horizontal base surface — a constraint that rules them out for vessel nozzle drives, column-mounted drives, and wall-mounted applications. The WPZ solves this with a Z-type circular flange housing that bolts directly onto any flanged surface: vessel nozzles, structural column flanges, wall brackets, or custom flanged frames — without a flat base.

The circular flange also enables free rotational positioning during installation, allowing the horizontal output shaft to be oriented in any required direction before the flange bolts are tightened. Combined with the T-type top-entry input shaft, the WPZ is the purpose-built choice for vessel-top and column-mounted drive applications in food processing, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.

■ Z-Type Circular Flange — Vessel & Column Direct Mount

The circular flange housing face bolts directly onto vessel nozzles, column flanges, and wall-mount brackets. No flat base surface required — no custom bracket fabrication.

■ 360° Rotational Output Positioning

Rotate the WPZ housing to any angular position on the mounting flange before tightening — directing the horizontal output shaft precisely toward the driven equipment without custom brackets or angular adapters.

■ T-Type Top-Entry Input Shaft

The input shaft enters from above, enabling the motor to sit directly overhead of the mounting flange — the natural arrangement for vessel-top drive installations.

■ Sizes 50–135 mm — Purpose-Sized for Process Drives

Z-type flange mounting is most effective for smaller mechanism and process drives. WPZ covers the 50–135 mm centre distance range where vessel nozzle and column mounting is most commonly required.

■ Pre-Shipment Testing: Noise, Leak, Torque

Every unit passes three tests: noise below 68 dB(A) at rated load, 30-minute pressurisation leak test, and output torque within ±5% of rated. Non-conforming units are reworked — not shipped.

■ FC20+ Material Certification

Housing castings are verified by mill certificates for FC20 grade: minimum 220 MPa tensile strength, 160–200 HB hardness. Ultrasonic defect testing on size 135 and above.
