EP-NRV050 Solid Shaft Aluminium Worm Gearbox – Product Overview
O EP-NRV050 is the crossover NRV solid-shaft worm gearbox for medium-duty industrial and water treatment drives, offering 25 mm output and VFD motor compatibility. With a solid Ø14j6 input shaft instead of an IEC motor flange, the NRV050 accepts any motor type via standard shaft coupling – servo motors, stepper motors, DC brushless, hydraulic motors, and even combustion engine PTO drives. This universal motor compatibility is the defining advantage of the NRV series over the IEC-flange-only NMRV series. At approx. 4 kg with 50 mm centre distance and Ø25h6 output shaft, it delivers up to 84 Nm output torque across ratios 5-100:1. The die-cast aluminium alloy housing provides corrosion resistance and thermal efficiency superior to cast iron while saving 30-50% in weight. Purpose-designed for water treatment paddle drives, process conveyors, and medium-duty pump mechanisms where VFD-controlled motors require the solid shaft input that IEC-flange reducers cannot provide.
