WPEDO Double Speed Cast Iron Worm Reducer — Product Overview
The WPEDO addresses the intersection of three common vertical agitator drive requirements simultaneously: direct IEC motor mounting without an adaptor plate, vertical upward output shaft direction, and extreme ratio reduction to output speeds below 5 rpm. All three are delivered in a single foot-mount dual-chamber FC20+ cast iron housing — eliminating the motor adaptor, the right-angle output bracket, and the VFD speed controller that alternative approaches require.

■ D-Type Split Housing — In-Situ Inspection on Agitator Frame
The D-split cover removes while the motor and vertical output shaft remain connected. Both worm stage chambers are accessible for worm wheel inspection during planned maintenance intervals without removing the unit from the agitator mounting frame.
■ Output Torque to 9,066 Nm — Full WPEDO Capacity
IEC flange and O-type output do not reduce the dual-stage worm gear torque capacity. WPEDO size 155–250 delivers up to 9,066 Nm — identical to WPEDA.
■ Independent Dual Oil Chambers — O-Type Adjusted Volumes
Both stage chambers are independently sealed with separate oil fills adjusted for O-type vertical output orientation. Use the WPEDO lubrication table for correct volumes.
■ IEC 72-1 Flange — Motor Bolts on in Four Bolts
Standard IEC motor flanges (A02/Y-series, frames 56–300 depending on size) connect directly without adaptor plate or coupling — same motor hardware as the WPDA.
