WPKS K+S Cast Iron Worm Reducer — Product Overview
Le WPKS solves a specific installation problem: applications where the motor must be positioned overhead (S-type top-entry) and the driven equipment has a keyed shaft requiring direct insertion without a coupling (K-type hollow bore). Neither the WPKA nor the WPS alone covers this combination — the WPKS provides both in a single FC20+ cast iron housing.
Typical applications include overhead-driven screw conveyors, grain augers, and turntable drives where vertical motor positioning conserves horizontal space while the hollow bore eliminates the coupling that would otherwise be exposed to crop debris, process fluids, or outdoor conditions.

WPKS Worm Reducer — Core Features
■ S-Type + K-Type — Unique Shaft Routing
Top-entry solid input shaft and hollow bore output together create a drive configuration unavailable in any other single WP series unit. Motor overhead, driven shaft through the bore — both constraints satisfied.
■ Hollow Bore Diameters 18.8–90 mm
Identical bore dimensions to WPKA at every size — the same driven shaft that fits a WPKA also fits the WPKS. All keyway dimensions follow GB/T 1095.
■ Foot-Mount + Shaft-Mount in One Housing
The WPKS base plate and torque arm boss both exist in the same housing. Use foot-mount for traditional installation or shaft-mount with torque arm for direct shaft installation — no modification required.
■ Overhead Motor Reduces Horizontal Footprint
S-type top-entry positions the motor directly above the reducer, eliminating lateral motor projection. Combined with hollow bore output, WPKS achieves the most compact overhead drive-to-shaft installation in the WP series.
■ FC20+ Cast Iron — Outdoor Agricultural Duty
Grey cast iron resists the corrosion from fertiliser dust, grain chaff, and outdoor moisture that degrades aluminium housings. The WPKS is designed for outdoor agricultural and field conditions.
■ Oil Circuit for S-Type Orientation
The oil volume and internal channel geometry are calibrated for S-type mounting, ensuring the worm gear mesh receives adequate lubrication splash with the input shaft entering from above.

☷ Grain Auger & Screw Conveyor
Overhead motor above the auger head shaft keeps the motor clear of crop debris and moisture at the loading point. The hollow bore eliminates the coupling that would otherwise be exposed to the outdoor environment.

Central shaft passes through the WPKS hollow bore enabling compact rotary drive tables where the vertical motor position minimises total machine height.
⚊ Overhead-Driven Conveyor Systems
In overhead conveyor systems where the drive unit must be above the conveyor belt, WPKS positions the motor directly overhead while the hollow bore eliminates the coupling below the drive unit.

■ Certification des matériaux FC20+
Les pièces moulées des carters sont vérifiées par des certificats d'usine pour la nuance FC20 : résistance à la traction minimale de 220 MPa, dureté de 160 à 200 HB. Un contrôle par ultrasons des défauts est effectué sur les pièces de taille 135 et supérieure.
