WPDO D+O Cast Iron Worm Reducer — Product Overview
Vertical agitator and mixer applications typically require three separate items: a motor adaptor, a gearbox, and either a right-angle adapter or vertical-output configuration. The WPDO addresses all three directly: the D-type split housing enables in-situ maintenance, the integrated IEC motor flange eliminates the adaptor plate, and the O-type output shaft exits vertically upward — ready to connect directly to the agitator or driven shaft above.
With output torques up to 3,025 Nm and 12 standard sizes from 40–250 mm centre distance, the WPDO serves the full range of water treatment, chemical processing, and food industry vertical drive applications without custom fabrication.

■ O-Type Vertical Upward Output — Direct Agitator Connection
Output shaft exits vertically upward, connecting directly to agitator shafts and vertical driven equipment without right-angle brackets or bevel gear stages.
■ IEC Motor Flange — Four-Bolt Direct Motor Mount
Integrated IEC 72-1 flange eliminates the motor adaptor plate. Motor bolts on in four bolts — no coupling, no alignment tool, no adaptor fabrication.
■ D-Type Split Housing — In-Situ Cover Removal
Two-piece cast iron housing allows the top cover to be removed while motor and vertical output shaft remain connected. Worm wheel inspection in-situ during standard maintenance windows.

The worm gear internals are identical to the WPDA. D+O configuration does not reduce torque — WPDO size 250 delivers 850–3,025 Nm.
