WPKA Single Speed Cast Iron Worm Reducer — WP Series

Conventional solid-output worm reducers require a shaft coupling between the reducer and the driven equipment — adding installation time, alignment risk, and ongoing coupling maintenance. The WPKA eliminates all three: its K-type hollow bore slides directly over the driven shaft and locks via key and keyway, creating a rigid, zero-coupling drive in a single assembly step.

This clean mechanical integration makes the WPKA the standard choice for shaft-mounted conveyor head drives, mixer agitators, and rotating platform drives across mining, chemical processing, and bulk handling industries. The same FC20+ cast iron housing as the solid-output WPA ensures identical vibration damping and thermal performance — the hollow bore does not compromise structural rigidity.

■ K-Type Through-Bore — Zero Coupling Hardware

The H7-tolerance through-bore with GB/T 1095 keyway accepts the driven shaft directly. Rigid keyed connection transmits full rated torque without coupling elements — no coupling lubrication schedule, no coupling fatigue failure risk.

■ Bore Diameters 18.8–90 mm Across 12 Sizes

From 18.8 mm (size 40) for small conveyor stub shafts to 90 mm (size 250) for large agitator main shafts — covering the complete range of standard industrial shaft diameters in a single product series.

■ Torque Arm Boss — Housing Rotation Prevented

A machined torque arm boss on the housing accepts a standard reaction arm to prevent housing rotation when shaft-mounted. Multiple anchor point orientations accommodate varied installation geometries.

■ FC20+ Cast Iron — Full Structural Integrity Retained

The hollow output bore does not reduce housing rigidity. The WPKA retains the same FC20+ cast iron construction as the solid-output WPA, with identical 95°C continuous oil temperature rating.

■ Double-Lip Oil Seal on Both Bore Ends

Seals on both sides of the hollow bore prevent lubricant leakage onto the driven shaft and block contaminant ingress into the gear mesh — critical in food processing and chemical environments.

■ Bilateral Solid Input Shaft Maintained

Despite the hollow output bore, the input remains a standard solid shaft with bilateral connection, maintaining full WPA-series motor mounting compatibility.

⚊ Shaft-Mounted Conveyor Head Drives

The WPKA slides onto the conveyor head shaft, eliminating the external coupling and shaft-to-shaft alignment that accounts for a large share of conveyor drive maintenance issues. The torque arm handles the housing restraint.

Vessel agitator shafts drop straight through the WPKA hollow bore. No exposed coupling in corrosive process environments means no coupling fatigue failures and no coupling lubrication maintenance.

The shaft-mount configuration handles the sustained radial loads of bucket elevator drives better than solid-output units with external couplings that introduce additional bending moments on the shaft.

Industrial fan shafts mount directly into the WPKA bore, removing coupling hub mass from the shaft overhang and improving dynamic balance in high-speed fan applications.

■ Предпродажные испытания: шум, герметичность, крутящий момент

Каждый агрегат проходит три испытания перед отгрузкой: уровень шума ниже 68 дБ(А) при номинальной нагрузке, 30-минутное испытание на герметичность под давлением и передачу крутящего момента в пределах ±5% от номинального значения. Несоответствующие агрегаты дорабатываются, но не отгружаются.

■ Сертификация материалов FC20+

Корпуса отливок проверяются по заводским сертификатам на соответствие марке FC20: минимальная прочность на растяжение 220 МПа, твердость 160–200 HB. Ультразвуковой контроль дефектов проводится для типоразмеров 135 и выше.
