EP-NRV090 Solid Shaft Aluminium Worm Gearbox – Product Overview
O EP-NRV090 is the heavy-duty NRV solid-shaft worm gearbox for solar tracking systems, large conveyors, and heavy agitator drives requiring precision servo or BLDC motor coupling. With a solid Ø24j6 input shaft instead of an IEC motor flange, the NRV090 accepts any motor type via standard shaft coupling – servo motors, stepper motors, DC brushless, hydraulic motors, and even combustion engine PTO drives. This universal motor compatibility is the defining advantage of the NRV series over the IEC-flange-only NMRV series. At approx. 15 kg with 90 mm centre distance and Ø35h6 output shaft, it delivers up to approx. 450 Nm output torque across ratios 5-100:1. The die-cast aluminium alloy housing provides corrosion resistance and thermal efficiency superior to cast iron while saving 30-50% in weight.
