WPDZ Single Speed Cast Iron Worm Reducer — WP Series

Vessel-top drive applications in food processing, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries impose three requirements simultaneously: mount directly to the vessel nozzle without a floor frame, connect the motor without an adaptor plate, and enable worm wheel inspection without vessel shutdown or motor removal. The WPDZ meets all three.

The Z-type circular flange bolts directly to the vessel nozzle. The IEC motor flange accepts the motor directly overhead without an adaptor. The D-type split housing opens for worm wheel inspection with both motor and vessel connections intact. Seven sizes from 50–135 mm centre distance cover the full range of standard process vessel drive torque requirements from 6 Nm to 690 Nm.

■ Z-Type Flange Mount — Vessel Nozzle Direct

Circular flange housing bolts to vessel nozzle, column, or custom flanged frame. No floor frame, no pedestal, no flat base surface required — essential for vessel-top installations.

■ IEC Motor Flange — Motor Bolts Direct Overhead

Integrated IEC flange eliminates the motor adaptor plate. Motor connects in four bolts from above — the standard overhead motor arrangement for vessel-top drives.

■ D-Type Split Housing — In-Situ Maintenance on Vessel

Remove the housing cover while the IEC motor stays connected and the Z-flange stays bolted to the vessel. Worm wheel inspection and replacement in-situ during standard maintenance windows.

■ Rotatable Output Shaft Direction

The Z-type circular flange allows housing rotation before bolt tightening — directing the horizontal output shaft toward any required direction without angular adapter hardware.

■ 7 Sizes: 50–135 mm — Purpose-Sized for Process Vessels

Z-type flange mounting is most common in the 50–135 mm centre distance range where vessel nozzle drives are typically specified. Torques from 6 Nm to 690 Nm cover standard mixing and conveying vessel drive requirements.

■ FC20+ Cast Iron — CIP and Steam Compatible

FC20+ grey cast iron housing withstands cleaning-in-place chemical exposure and steam cleaning procedures common in food and pharmaceutical vessel environments.

Validated maintenance protocol requires worm wheel inspection without disconnecting the motor or the vessel seal. WPDZ D-split cover allows this without disturbing the motor or the validated vessel nozzle seal.

Mount to reactor column nozzles at any elevation without floor frame or pedestal. IEC motor overhead, horizontal output to discharge conveyor or downstream equipment.

In beverage plant tank farms where vessel spacing is tight, WPDZ Z-flange mount eliminates the floor frame footprint, allowing tighter tank spacing and improved plant layout efficiency.

■ Kiểm tra trước khi giao hàng: Độ ồn, rò rỉ, mô-men xoắn

Mỗi thiết bị đều trải qua ba bài kiểm tra: độ ồn dưới 68 dB(A) ở tải định mức, kiểm tra rò rỉ áp suất trong 30 phút và mô-men xoắn đầu ra nằm trong phạm vi ±5% so với định mức. Các thiết bị không đạt tiêu chuẩn sẽ được sửa chữa lại — không được xuất xưởng.

■ Chứng nhận vật liệu FC20+

Các sản phẩm đúc vỏ được kiểm định bằng chứng nhận của nhà máy đối với mác thép FC20: độ bền kéo tối thiểu 220 MPa, độ cứng 160–200 HB. Kiểm tra khuyết tật bằng siêu âm đối với kích thước từ 135 trở lên.
