Where applications demand both vertical upward output shaft direction and ultra-low output speeds — fermentation vessel agitators, sludge mixers, and slow-speed batch processors — a single-stage WPO covers ratios only to 1/60. The WPEO extends this to 1/900+, combining the O-type vertical upward output with two tandem worm stages in a single FC20+ cast iron housing. Output speeds below 2 rpm from a standard 4-pole motor are achievable without VFD controls — simplifying the drive system and eliminating inverter maintenance.

■ O-Type Vertical Upward + Double Stage — Direct Agitator Connection at Ultra-Low Speed

The WPEO output shaft exits vertically upward and achieves ratios from 1/200 to 1/900+, delivering output speeds well below 10 rpm from a standard motor. Connects directly to slow-speed agitator shafts without a right-angle bracket or VFD speed control.

■ Same 6,050 Nm Output Torque as WPEA — O Output Does Not Reduce Capacity

O-type vertical output direction does not affect the worm gear torque ratings. WPEO size 155–250 delivers the same 6,050 Nm as WPEA at equivalent ratios.

■ Oil Volume Calibrated for O-Type Vertical Orientation

With output shaft vertical upward, the worm wheel submersion depth changes. The WPEO lubrication table specifies the correct oil volume for each size combination in O-type orientation — independent for each stage chamber.

■ Dual Independent Oil Chambers — Both Stages

Each stage chamber has its own fill, gauge, and drain. Monitor and service each independently on the 2,500-hour interval.

■ Bilateral Horizontal Input — Standard Motor Coupling

The horizontal bilateral input shaft accepts standard motor coupling connections from either side regardless of the O-type output orientation.

■ FC20+ Materialzertifizierung

Beide Gehäuse verfügen über Werkszeugnisse gemäß FC20: Mindestzugfestigkeit 220 MPa, Härte 160–200 HB. Ultraschallprüfung bei Größenkombinationen ab 135–200.
