WPW Universal Speed Cast Iron Worm Reducer — Product Overview
The WPW P-housing is machined to accept input and output shaft connections from five standard directions — A (below), S (above), O (vertical upward output), X (vertical downward output), and T (side output). One housing design serves every standard installation orientation.

Covers the full single-stage worm reducer ratio range. Size 40 at 1/5 delivers 2.2 Nm; size 250 at 1/60 delivers 4,440 Nm — all from the same universal housing geometry.
■ 11 Frame Sizes: 40–250 mm
From compact 6.5 kg size 40 mechanism drives to 430 kg heavy-duty size 250 industrial drives — 11 standard sizes covering the full range of industrial and agricultural drive requirements.
■ FC20+ Cast Iron Universal Housing — Vibration Damping
The P-housing is machined from a single FC20+ grey cast iron casting. Vibration damping 3× superior to aluminium equivalents — suitable for high-shock conveyor and agricultural applications.
■ N150–N220 Lubrication — Wider Low-Temperature Range
WPW uses N150–N220 mineral oil for ambient below 40°C — a lower viscosity than the WP series N220–N320, reflecting the WPW’s optimised shaft direction flexibility and oil distribution geometry.
■ Bilateral Input Shaft — Motor from Either Side
The bilateral input shaft accepts motor coupling connections from either side of the P-housing without ordering a mirrored unit — installation flexibility regardless of which of the 5 shaft directions is selected.
