Single-stage worm reducers achieve ratios up to 1/60. When applications demand 1/200, 1/500, or 1/900 — solar trackers, valve actuators, slow-speed conveyors, and positioning drives — a second worm stage is the engineering answer. The WPEKA places two matched worm stages in tandem in a single cast iron housing, delivering ratios from 1/200 to over 1/900 in one compact, foot-mount unit with no intermediate shafting, no external coupling between stages, and no additional mounting frame.

The WPEKA combines the two-stage extreme ratio capability with the zero-coupling hollow bore output. The driven shaft inserts directly into the K-bore — no output coupling required even at 1/900+ ratios with 6,050 Nm output torque.

The hollow bore enables shaft-mounting the WPEKA directly onto the driven equipment shaft with a torque arm reaction bracket — the same installation method as the WPKA, but with access to ratios up to 1/900+.
■ Same 6,050 Nm Output Torque as WPEA — K-Bore Does Not Reduce Capacity
The K-type hollow bore substitution does not change the worm gear internals or torque ratings. WPEKA size 155–250 delivers identical 6,050 Nm to the WPEA at the same ratio.
