De EP-NRV040 is the mid-range NRV solid-shaft worm gearbox bridging light and medium-duty requirements, with the universal motor coupling that makes it ideal for field equipment and mobile machinery. With a solid Ø11j6 input shaft instead of an IEC motor flange, the NRV040 accepts any motor type via standard shaft coupling – servo motors, stepper motors, DC brushless, hydraulic motors, and even combustion engine PTO drives. This universal motor compatibility is the defining advantage of the NRV series over the IEC-flange-only NMRV series. At approx. 2.5 kg with 40 mm centre distance and Ø18h6 output shaft, it delivers up to 45 Nm output torque across ratios 5-100:1. The die-cast aluminium alloy housing provides corrosion resistance and thermal efficiency superior to cast iron while saving 30-50% in weight.
