WPO Single Speed Cast Iron Worm Reducer — WP Series

When an application requires the driven shaft to run vertically upward — agitators, vertical lift conveyors, or bottom-entry mixer drives — standard horizontal-output worm reducers require a right-angle attachment bracket that adds cost, height, and misalignment risk. The WPO eliminates this entirely by routing the output shaft vertically upward as standard, with the motor input entering horizontally from either side via the bilateral input shaft.

Internally the WPO uses the same FC20+ cast iron housing, ZCuSn10Pb1 tin-bronze worm wheel, and 20CrMnTi worm shaft as the WPA — delivering the same 2,371 Nm maximum output torque and 95°C continuous operating capability in 12 standard frame sizes from 40–250 mm centre distance.

■ O-Type Vertical Upward Output — No Right-Angle Bracket

The output shaft exits the housing vertically upward as standard. Connects directly to agitator shafts, vertical elevators, and lift mechanisms without the right-angle bracket fabrication that solid horizontal-output units require.

■ Bilateral Horizontal Input — Motor from Either Side

Despite the vertical output, the WPO retains the bilateral horizontal worm shaft input. Connect the motor from either side of the machine frame without a mirrored unit.

■ Same 2,371 Nm Capacity as WPA — Identical Internals

O-type output direction does not affect torque capacity. All WPO sizes share torque ratings with their WPA equivalents — the worm gear internals are unchanged.

■ 12 Frame Sizes: 5 kg to 340 kg

From compact 40 mm units for small mechanism drives to 250 mm heavy-duty units for industrial agitator applications — 12 sizes covering the full range of vertical output drive requirements.

■ Oil Volume Calibrated for O-Type Orientation

The oil fill volume for WPO O-type mounting is specified separately to the WPA, ensuring adequate worm wheel submersion depth with the output shaft pointing upward.

■ FC20+ Cast Iron for Wet Process Environments

Vertical agitator and mixer installations often involve moisture or process fluid splash. FC20+ cast iron resists the corrosion that degrades aluminium housings in humid or wet process environments.

⚔ Wastewater Treatment Agitators

WPO vertical upward output connects directly to clarifier and aeration basin agitator shafts. Eliminates the right-angle attachment bracket and its associated alignment, cost, and maintenance overhead.

☵ Vertical Mixer Drives

Bottom-entry vessel mixer shafts require a vertical drive output. WPO foot-mount installation positions the motor horizontally alongside the vessel while the output drives the agitator shaft upward.

⚊ Vertical Lift Conveyors

For Z-conveyor and vertical lift systems where the drive shaft runs vertically, WPO eliminates the coupling and bevel gear stage that horizontal-output reducers require to change shaft direction.

⚛ Fan & Blower Shaft Drives

Vertical-axis fan impeller shafts connect directly to the WPO upward output without coupling. Removes coupling mass imbalance risk and eliminates coupling maintenance from the fan service schedule.

■ Kiểm tra trước khi giao hàng: Độ ồn, rò rỉ, mô-men xoắn

Mỗi thiết bị đều trải qua ba bài kiểm tra: độ ồn dưới 68 dB(A) ở tải định mức, kiểm tra rò rỉ áp suất trong 30 phút và mô-men xoắn đầu ra nằm trong phạm vi ±5% so với định mức. Các thiết bị không đạt tiêu chuẩn sẽ được sửa chữa lại — không được xuất xưởng.

■ Chứng nhận vật liệu FC20+

Các sản phẩm đúc vỏ được kiểm định bằng chứng nhận của nhà máy đối với mác thép FC20: độ bền kéo tối thiểu 220 MPa, độ cứng 160–200 HB. Kiểm tra khuyết tật bằng siêu âm đối với kích thước từ 135 trở lên.
