EP-NRV130 Solid Shaft Aluminium Worm Gearbox – Product Overview
IL EP-NRV130 is the flagship NRV solid-shaft worm gearbox and the largest aluminium frame available, designed for quarry conveyors, construction hoists, and heavy process drives requiring diesel engine PTO coupling. With a solid Ø30j6 input shaft instead of an IEC motor flange, the NRV130 accepts any motor type via standard shaft coupling – servo motors, stepper motors, DC brushless, hydraulic motors, and even combustion engine PTO drives. This universal motor compatibility is the defining advantage of the NRV series over the IEC-flange-only NMRV series. At approx. 52 kg with 130 mm centre distance and Ø45h6 output shaft, it delivers up to approx. 1600 Nm output torque across ratios 7.5-100:1. The die-cast aluminium alloy housing provides corrosion resistance and thermal efficiency superior to cast iron while saving 30-50% in weight. Unlike the IEC-flange NMRV series, the NRV solid input shaft couples to ANY motor type via standard shaft couplings – AC induction, DC brushless, servo, stepper, hydraulic, pneumatic, and combustion engine PTO drives.
