WPEX Double Speed Cast Iron Worm Reducer — Product Overview
の WPEX is the double-stage counterpart to the single-stage WPX: X-type vertical downward output for ceiling and inverted installations, extended to ratios 1/200–1/900+ by the dual worm stage architecture. Overhead mining conveyor drives running below 5 rpm, sub-floor mechanism drives, and ceiling-mounted gravity-assist systems requiring extreme ratios use WPEX where no single-stage overhead reducer can deliver the required output speed.

WPEX Double Speed Worm Reducer — Core Features
■ X-Type Downward Output + Double Stage — Extreme Ratio Ceiling Drive
The WPEX combines X-type vertical downward output with two-stage extreme ratio reduction — providing ratios 1/200 to 1/900+ in a ceiling-mount or inverted installation. Applications requiring output speeds below 10 rpm from an overhead drive unit use WPEX where a single-stage WPX would only reach 1/60.
■ Same 6,050 Nm Output Torque as WPEA
X-type output does not affect dual-stage torque capacity. WPEX size 155–250 delivers 6,050 Nm.
■ Oil Circuit for X-Type Inverted/Downward Orientation
Both chamber oil volumes are adjusted for X-type inverted orientation. Use the WPEX lubrication table for correct volumes in ceiling/inverted mounting.
■ Bilateral Horizontal Input — Motor from Either Side
Horizontal bilateral input shaft retained in X-type configuration — motor connects from either side of the ceiling-mounted housing.
■ FC20+ Dual-Chamber Cast Iron — Inverted Load Stability
Cast iron housing maintains dimensional stability under the sustained inverted load of ceiling-mount installation. Dual-chamber design maintains inter-stage alignment at operating temperature.
