The WPEKS is the only WPE unit that simultaneously provides S-type overhead motor entry, K-type hollow bore output, and two-stage extreme ratio reduction — the complete feature set for overhead-motor shaft-mount ultra-high-ratio drives.

Overhead motor positioning minimises lateral machine width at extreme ratios where a side-entry motor would project beyond the structural envelope of compact machines and tracker frames.
■ K Hollow Bore — Direct Shaft Connection at 6,050 Nm
Hollow bore output connects the driven shaft directly even at 6,050 Nm maximum output torque (size 155–250). No output coupling hardware — shorter installed length, no coupling fatigue at extreme torque levels.
■ Shaft-Mount Capability — Torque Arm Restraint
The torque arm boss enables WPEKS shaft-mounting directly onto the driven equipment shaft — motor overhead, shaft through bore, no separate mounting frame. The most mechanically integrated configuration in the WPE series.

For narrow conveyor frames where the motor must be overhead and the head shaft is keyed, WPEKS provides direct shaft mounting and overhead motor in a single double-stage unit — output speeds below 3 rpm from standard motor.

Valve stem shaft insertion through WPEKS K-bore with overhead IEC motor coupling — eliminates both the adaptor plate and the output coupling from the actuator drive. Overhead motor keeps electrical connections above process fluid level.
